FOUNDER

Claire
Lo Russo

Claire holds a B.S./M.S.Ed. with a focus in anatomy and biology. She is a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) with specializations in Corrective Exercise (CES) and Fitness Nutrition (FNS). Claire is the founder of the Carve It® trampoline-based training method and holds instructor certifications from both bellicon and JumpSport.

Claire’s earliest memories all include moving, running, and fitness. As a child, her weekends were spent traveling with her family to various road races and track meets all over the NorthEast. In high school, she was nationally ranked, earning number 1 in the nation status in the 1500m. She went on to run and compete for UNC, Chapel Hill.

Today, Claire is a mom of 3 and an avid fitness enthusiast. Her passion for all things fitness was reignited after a debilitating hamstring tear in 2015 and the untimely passing of her personal hero, mentor, and coach, her father. Since then, her drive and dedication to creating a body that is beautifully strong and functional has become paramount in her life. The carefully planned routines in Carve It® reflect Claire’s varied background in rebounding, strength training, plyometrics, calisthenics, Pilates, barre, yoga, and racing at an elite level.

Claire’s motivation is being healthy, enjoying the journey, living life to the fullest, and feeling amazing. She is committed to doing all she can to keep her body and mind in top shape. Claire is even more passionate about helping others feel and achieve the same results. She genuinely wants everyone to live their lives feeling wonderful inside and out. As the saying goes, “Do what you love and never work a day in your life.” Claire is grateful to have the opportunity to train her global clientele virtually and one-on-one. For her, there is nothing so profound as watching a client push through barriers that once seemed insurmountable and finding the joy in the journey!

What is Carve It®?

Carve It® is a dynamic series of trampoline-based classes that offer a systematic approach to training.

Each class integrates rebounding—training on mini-trampolines—which delivers unique health benefits while providing a tremendously fun and effective way to train your entire body.

Carve It® Fitness and Wellness offers virtual classes for all fitness levels, ranging from gentle, rejuvenating sessions to high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and everything in between. Our workouts incorporate a wide range of training techniques and wellness focuses, including:

  • Cardio, Sculpt, and Strength Training

  • Lymph-Stimulating Pat Downs, Movements and Dry Brushing

  • Cortisol Calming, Stress Reduction and Breathwork

  • LIRT (Low-Intensity Resistance Training), LIIT (Low-Intensity Interval Training), and LVHIIT (Low-Volume High-Intensity Interval Training)

  • Isometric and Eccentric Training

  • Calisthenics + Plyometrics

  • Pilates, Barre, and Yoga

  • Bodyweight Training

What is rebounding?

Rebounding is exercising/training on mini-trampolines. It works every single muscle in your body, down to the cellular level with minimal and evenly spread impact to joints.  Rebounding is also the most effective way to provide your body with a full body detox via lymphatic drainage. During rebounding you harness and utilize gravity to reap amazing holistic and wellness benefits.

NASA concluded, “Rebound exercise is the greatest form of exercise known to man.”
